Stephanie Meyer is a Pinellas native and former businesswoman whose heart for education inspired her to leave her successful career working for a Fortune 100 company to become a local High School/Advanced Placement social studies teacher and college professor.

Stephanie's passion for education runs deep in her Pinellas roots. As a product of the Pinellas public school system and the daughter of a beloved 34-year veteran teacher, she has a unique perspective of the challenges and triumphs the public school system has faced over the years. Stephanie went back to college as an adult earning her Associate of Arts from St. Petersburg College as well as a Bachelor of Science in Political Science/History and Master of Arts in History from Liberty University. 

 

Stephanie has worked with the Florida Legislature and stakeholders to pass legislation for curriculum transparency and parental rights and she continues to advocate on behalf of families, students, and teachers.

 

With her combined business acumen and education expertise, Stephanie is committed to reforming Pinellas public schools so that every individual child receives the education they need and deserve. Stephanie resides in Pinellas with her husband Steve, a local firefighter,

 and their three children.
